Use reps in reserve (RIR)
How it works
Record effort by tapping a set number and choosing an RIR value. RIR is the number of additional repetitions you estimate you could complete with proper technique before reaching failure. A value of 0 means no more clean reps; 2 means about two more. You can review a saved set’s RIR when editing your workout. Ratings are estimates and become more consistent with practice. Do not force failure on every set: adapt effort to the exercise, technique, fatigue and your program.
